In the summer 2005
issue, I wish to feature the MER archive of award winning research which
is available at
www.marketingeducationreview.com/mer/journalinfo/awards.html. In
this section of our website we present a chronological listing of
recipients of the MER Best Article Award.
The 2004 Marketing
Education Review Best Article Award was presented to Debbie McAlister
from Texas State University-San Marcos and Barbara Stöttinger
from Vienna University. Their paper is entitled "Using an Intensive
Living Case in Graduate Marketing Courses: Experiences from an
International Project” and appeared in Volume 9, Number 3, Fall 1999.
Their research provides a living case study focusing on a U.S. firm that
expanded globally into European markets. The paper provides insights on
the learning experience and best practices that resulted from the case.
Please extend
congratulations to Debbie and Barbara for their award winning
contribution to the marketing education literature. Winners of the Best
Article Award receive a plaque and are recognized at the annual
Society of Marketing Advances conference.
